Besten Dank, lieber Krichauff, dass Du es mit Mr Molineux, der mir geschrieben hat, einrichten konntest, Algen grob getrocknet zu bekommen. Du bist schon so überhäuft mit Arbeit, dass ich Dich gar nicht hätte plagen sollen; es geschah um nicht Andere gleich darauf hinzulocken, Rival-Sammlungen zu machen.
Hierbei einige seltnere austral Postmarken; mehr können nachfolgen.

Besten Dank für die regelmässige Zusendung des Journals Deines Bureau. Hättest Du weiter nichts für S. A. gethan, als diese Organisation zu schaffen, so wärst Du ein bleibender Wohltäter der Colonie, die Dich in dankbarem Andenken bewahren wird.

to obtain rough-dried algae. You are already so overwhelmed with work that I should not have pestered you at all. I only did it so others would not immediately be tempted to make rival collections.

Krichauff, with S. Davenport and A. Molineux, had been appointed to the Central Bureau of Agriculture in 1888.
If you had done nothing else for South Australia than to create this organization, you would be a lasting benefactor of the colony, which would keep you in grateful remembrance.
