Hoffentlich lassen Sie u Ihr Sohn sich nicht irre machen, lieber Herr Tepper, wenn ich das Benennen von Pflanzen für eine Weile überstehen lasse. Was immer gesammelt u mir zugeschickt wird, soll früher oder später auch wissenschaftliche Erledigung finden. Ich bin verpflichtet bis Ende Juli die 8tn engl Ausgabe (wieder erweitert) der Select plants durch die Presse zu bringen, da die 7te aus der Regierungs Druckerei fast völlig verkauft ist.- Dazu kommt noch, dass in der Präsidentur der geographischen Gesellschaft hier mich die Pflichten für Baron Nordenskiölds Expedition sehr bedrängen, damit für seine Südpol-Fahrt die Saison von 1892-93 nicht verloren gehe!

Im Departement liegen täglich auch schwere Routine Arbeiten vor. Nach einigen Wochen werden Sie wieder von mir hören.

A package of Western Australian plants collected by O. Tepper's son J. W. O. Tepper in the vicinity of Roebuck Bay, WA, had been sent in the same post as O. Tepper to M, 3 May 1891. No report on that package has been found.

Whatever is collected and sent to me will sooner or later also find scientific settlement. I am committed until the end of July to bring the 8th English edition (further enlarged) of the Select plants

is almost completely sold out from the Government Printery. On top of that in the presidency of the geographical Society here the duties for Baron Nordenskiöld's expedition are very pressing on me, lest the season of 1892-93 is lost for his South Pole journey!
