Halten Sie daher die W.A.

In May, dear Mr Tepper, I hope to complete the manuscript of the Key 1, and in June bring this part through the press.

The volume was not published until late the following year, as B88.11.02.
Only later could I undertake new obligations, especially since every day the routine work in the department is large. Therefore hold back the Western Australian plants, preferably for a couple of months. The Kangaroo Island

plants will also gradually be settled as far as the completeness of the material allows it. In the case of several genera a new critical working through of all related species is required, since the Flora

at hand. If you will send a little of it, I'll check immediately whether it is H. marginata. The leafless may be the very same as one from Victoria. However, there must be critical investigation from extensive material, which is time-consuming.
I shall very gladly pass on your interesting paper

It is not known which of Tepper's many publications were sent with the letter to which M was replying.
Ripe fruits are still lacking from several acacias of the interior.
