so you will also certainly gladly convey it this time.

Tepper (1888) was read to the Royal Society of South Australia on 4 November 1886, but it was evidently revised before publication to include new material, as Tepper mentions finding Helichrysum adenophorum 'in the so-called Ninety-mile desert', in SA's south-east, in January 1887. It is probable that Tepper was enquiring about the possibility of publishing in Victoria something about that trip. If so, he seems to have ignored M's advice and persisted, sending his notes on the Ninety-mile Desert that he intended to form a paper to the Field Naturalists' Club of Victoria with a letter of 25 April 1887 that has not been found (see annotation on M to O. Tepper, 6 March 1887). However, the Club's rules required papers to be contributed by members; see C. French to M, 23 May 1887; and M to O. Tepper, 29 May 1887 (in this edition as 87-05-29a).
Most friendly greetings
Ferd. von Mueller.
