Diesmal, lieber Herr Stephani, nur die Mittheilung, dass mir die letzte Post einen sehr freundlichen Brief von Hr. Professor Lüerssen

Luerssen.

brachte, dessen längeres Schreiben sich durch seine Übernahme der Professur, den Umzug usw. erklärt. Die Neu Guinea Farne kamen richtig bei ihm an. Hoffentlich kann ich auch Ihnen bald wieder neue Materialien für Ihre besonderen Lieblingsstudien senden.

This time, dear Mr Stephani, only the information that the last mail brought me a very friendly letter from Professor Luerssen, whose longer letter explains the removal and so on by his taking over the professorship.

The New Guinea ferns arrived safely at his place. It is to be hoped I can again also send you soon new material for your favourite study.
