Da ich wahrnehme, hochgeehrter Herr Prof. Agardh, durch die Übersendung des letzten Theils der Acta Lundensia, dass Sie noch immer rüstig an Algen weiter arbeiten, so trage ich kein Bedenken, Ihnen dem Grossmeister, neue Materialien zuzusenden, zumal da Herr Professor Berggren mir auch eben schreibt, dass Ihre Lieblings-Studien Sie noch immer beschäftigen. Seit dem Tode unseres unvergesslichen Freundes Dr Sonder haben sich eine Menge unbearbeiter

australischer Algen angesammlt, die zum Theil Ihnen mit den letzten Posten gesandt wurden, theils noch in Hamburg liegen. Ich habe nun die verwittwete Frau Doctorin Sonder gebeten, auch diese Algen für gütige Bearbeitung an Sie abgehen zu lassen. Es wäre mir recht lieb, wenn ich bis zum Ende des Jahres die Namen (u. 1 Ex. zurück) derjenigen Arten erhalten könnte, welche leicht zu erkennen sind, da ich Ende 1882 ein Supplement zu den Evasculares für den 12t Band der Fragmenta drucken lasse.

Because I perceive, highly esteemed Professor Agardh, through the sending of the last part of the Acta Lundensia, that you are still actively working on algae, I have no concerns in forwarding new material to you, the grand master, especially since Professor Berggren also recently wrote to me

that your favourite study still occupies you. Since the death of our unforgettable friend Dr Sonder, a large quantity of unworked Australian algae have accumulated, that in part were sent to you by the last mails

and partly still lie in Hamburg. I have now asked the widowed Mrs Sonder

to have these algae also dispatched to you for kindly working up. I should be very pleased if by the end of the year I could get the names (and 1 specimen back) of those species that are easily recognized, because at the end of 1882 I shall have a supplement to the Evasculares printed for the 12th volume of the Fragmenta.

Only one fascicle of vol. 12, B82.12.03, was published. It did not contain a supplement to the 'Indices plantarum Acotyledonarum Complectens', written by specialists and edited, usually with additional comments, by M, that comprised B80.11.01 and B81.13.12.
