My friends Comte de Castelnau and Professor McCoy are always glad to exchange zoological
objects. The Count works however now only on Coleoptera.
11 November 1868.
I do not know, esteemed Professor, if the 4 enclosed mosses went to you in the large
collection,
which you will have received by now through the kind agency of Councillor Regel.
These 4 species are from Rockingham Bay on the north-east coast of Australia.

M had sent all his Australian and New Zealand moss collections to Lindberg on loan;
see M to O. Lindberg, 5 July 1868.
Respectfully your
Ferd. von Mueller.
My friends Count de Castelnau and Professor McCoy are always glad to exchange zoological
objects. The Count however now works only on Coleoptera.
