Ich sende diesen Brief von Hobarton um zu zeigen, dass ich Ihre schönen Karten ablieferte. Ich habe in eine Kiste, die pr Lincolnshire Anfangs dieses Monats versandt wurde u durch Hr Dr Sonder an Hr Professor Roeper in Rostock gelangen wird ein kleines Packet Schriften für Sie eingeschlossen.

I almost forgot to thank you for the magnificent New Zealand atlases, which arrived last month.

Hochstetter & Petermann (1863). Petermann had dispatched a parcel with nine copies of this work to M via Sonder on 9 December 1863, with instructions for the distribution of eight of them to various Australian recipients; see A. Petermann to M, 27 April 1864 (in this edition as 64-04-27a).
