Oktober 1864 meldet [Mueller], dass er an das zoologische Institut zu Rostock eine bedeutende Kiste voll Vögel und eine Anzahl Vogelbälge und Vierfüsslerbälge abzuschicken eben im Begriff ist. Der Sendung war der Wunsch beigefügt, ihn ja nicht etwa mit Geld für die Unkosten zu entschädigen.]

Kobert's text continues: 'Man beschloss im Konzil der Universität daraufhin, ihn der Regierung zu einem Orden vorzustellen. Diese Vorstellung hatte den gewunschten Erfolg' [In response to this, it was agreed at the University Council to recommend him to the government for an Order. This recommendation had the desired result], followed by the text of M to J. Roeper, 24 February 1866 (in this edition as 66-02-24d), in which M thanks Roeper for his role in M's being created a Kight of Mecklenburg's House-Order of the Wendish Crown.
