Kobert's text continues: 'Man beschloss im Konzil der Universität daraufhin, ihn der
Regierung zu einem Orden vorzustellen. Diese Vorstellung hatte den gewunschten Erfolg'
[In response to this, it was agreed at the University Council to recommend him to
the government for an Order. This recommendation had the desired result], followed
by the text of M to J. Roeper, 24 February 1866 (in this edition as 66-02-24d), in which M thanks Roeper for his role in M's being created a Kight of Mecklenburg's
House-Order of the Wendish Crown.
[On 26 October 1864 [Mueller] advised that he was just about to dispatch to the Zoological
Institute at Rostock a substantial crate full of birds and a number of bird skins
and skins of four-footed creatures. Joined to the sending was the wish that he should
not be reimbursed with money at all for the expense.]
