Reverend and dear Sir.
By last mail I forwarded a few notes on the relation of the Flora of NZ to that of
Austr. & Tasm.
I hope these will be sufficient for your purpose. If not I will most gladly afford
you any additional information. I mentioned also, that it would likely fall to my
share, to throw light on the vegetation of the Chatham Islands.
Should you deem any portion of my letter worthy of publication pray refer

to this probability of my elucidating the Botany of the Chatham Islands
