I have the honor to inform you, that I successfully returned from my journey to Mount
Baw Baw
on the 5th instant. A report of my journey I shall have the honor of laying before
you in a short time when submitting the annual report on this establishment.

Mt Baw Baw, Vic. M started for the mountain on 23 December from Good Hope Creek, not
in 21st-century gazetteers but near Mt Tanjil, Gippsland (Hasthorpe & Rogers (1987),
