It needs not my assurance, dear Prof Sechell, that I will always name for you plants, more particularly those from Australia, concerning which you may have doubts there.

M may have been responding to Setchell's thanking him for an earlier set of identifications; see M to W. Setchell, 6 March 1896 (in this edition as 96-03-06a).
In the great genera, such as and , it needs however specimens as well in flower as in fruit. If you made out a list, which species you have already, I could send the seeds of additional kinds as opportunities may arise from time to time.
