The introductory text is on a specimen label of the Phytologic Museum of Melbourne, while the list of pllant identifications that accompanies it here occupies both sides of two sheets of paper and may have been sent separately. They are filed with an envelope addressed in M’s hand to 'Professor Will Alb. Setchell University of Berkeley, California' and dated 6 March 1896. Setchell was appointed professor of botany at Berkeley in 1895. See also M to W. Setchell, 17 July 1896.
Hope, additional sending of Decades of Salsoloc.
