T. R. Wilson Esqr.
Under Secretary.
Sir.
In continuation of former correspondence
1
Including M to T. Wilson, 10 March 1889, and M to T. Wilson, 10 March 1889; see notes to both letters.
I have the honor to transmit a certificate, received this morning from the medical Gentleman, attending Mr Renner, setting forth, that the latter cannot return to duty for an other fortnight or perhaps month.
2
The certificate, written on 13 April 1889 by Dr J. O. Eccles, MD, of 96 Collins Street East, Melbourne, reads: 'This is to certify that Mr Renner, although considerably improved is still unable to return to his duties and I think it advisable for him to have complete rest for another fortnight or what would be still better another month. His indisposition I believe to be due to nervous prostration of a temporary character which rest and a change of air will greatly benefit.'
I have the honor to be,
Sir, your obedient servant
Ferd von Mueller
