) für mich zu benennen, u. so beeile ich mich, sogleich einiges Wenige, welches mir zur Hand liegt, Ihnen zuzusenden. Da ich im Beginn von 1885 ein Supplement zu der Liste der Evasculares Australiens für den 12ten Band meiner Fragmenta phytographiae Australiae zu veröffentlichen wünsche, so wäre mir eine baldige Mittheilung über die Resultate der Untersuchung des jetzt Geschickten besonders willkommen. Die einzige Bedingung, welche ich an die Abgabe von Lebermoosen knüpfe, ist dass ich etwas für die Regierungssammlung von jeder Art zurückbekomme pr. Post.

) for me, and so I hasten at once to send you some few that lie at hand. Since I wish to publish a supplement to the list of Evasculares of Australia for the 12th volume of my Fragmenta phytographiae Australiae at the beginning of 1885,

Stephani named the Australian species in the group (see M to F. Stephani, 23 January 1885) but the final part of M's Fragmenta to be published was B82.12.03, the first part of the intended vol. 12, and no supplement to the volume was issued. See, however, Stephani (1889).
a speedy communication on the results of the investigation of those now sent would be particularly welcome to me. The only condition that I attach to the delivery of the liverworts is that I get back something of each species for the government collection per post.

I always send monographers all material so that that they are in the best position for working up, especially since the examples are often poor.
