Dear Mr Guillaume.

Kindly tell Mr Odgers, that I am highly gratified, that the presentation-copies of the books are to go through official channels, which is the proper course also, only I did not like to trouble the Offices about it, especially as an Austrian Ship was returning

I hope Mr Odgers will excuse, that I did not suggest this course of transmission myself.
