Sir
I have the honor to draw your friendly attention to the circumstance, that Mr Goyder
very kindly promised to cause a set of all such Museum plants to be transmitted to
my department, as may be collected during his exploration of Arnhem's Land and of
the interior. The object of this arrangement was more particularly, to elucidate such
collections in the interest of Mr Goyders enterprise, and for this purpose my establishment
offers facilities, which not exist any where else.
If therefore you could kindly authorize a portion of the collections now arrived or
which may follow, to be sent to my department, I shall gladly fulfill the obligation,
which I spontaneously under took in reference to the examination of the plants.
