dear Dr Hooker, you will receive the 50th case with Museum-plants. It contains mainly , therefore the rest of the , with which Mr Bentham wishes to commence the 5th vol. e & the e & rest of Dryandreae shall soon follow. — Pray do not think, that I wish to burden in an unreasonable manner my commissions on Kew, when I venture to send a small package for Groenewegen in Amsterdam & a large one for Utrecht. Indeed I did not like the steamship to leave without this case for you & put the package for Miquel in to fill up empty space. Please send it to Silberrad for further transmission, if you are not in direct communication with the Utrecht or Leyden botanical establishment.
With best regards
Ferd. von Mueller
Please let the Rev Mr Leighton have the Lichens, as I owe that Gentleman a return for fine British species.
