Temporary Town Hall
Market Square Melbourne
18th September 1868.
My dear Dr von Mueller,
I must apologise for not sooner acknowledging and thanking you for your letter of the 7th instant calling my attention to the desirability of getting Mr Fuller to paint the boat houses which he has on the left bank of the Yarra at Princes bridge. I mentioned the matter to the Health Committee of the City Council but as yet have been unable to get any order made upon it
1
Since M to E. FitzGibbon, 7 September 1868, was written, Fuller had responded to M's request to paint the boat houses (M to E. FitzGibbon, 19 September 1868).
Believe me yours very truly
E. G. FitzGibbon
Town Clerk.
Dr F. von Mueller
