had just taken the other great meteorite from the same locality for sale to the British Musuem, so that the Brit. Mus. wd have probably a superfluity and the Nat Mus of the Colony have no representative of a great local natural curiosity. As however Mr Daintree has not yet fulfilled his promise Pr McC. must only remain satisfied with the promise of the half made by Mr Bruce and when the Estimates are sufficiently forward will complete the arrangements he had already commenced for getting tenders for the removal at the cost of the Museum
