Das Gesuch des Dr. phil. Ferd. Müller wird motivirt und unterstützt durch folgende Druck- und Schriftstücke, welche beizuschliessen ich mich beehre.
1) Durch einen Brief des Dr Sonder zu Hamburg vom 3 hujus an den Herrn Professor Röper hieselbst nebst Einschluss vom Dr Müller vom 21 Juli an dieselbe Addresse.
2) Durch einen zweiten Brief des Dr. Sonder vom 21 hujus nebst einer Lebensskizze des Dr. Müller.
3) Durch die Inauguraldissertation des Dr. Müller: Breviarum plantarum Ducatus Slesvicensis austro-occidentalis; abgedr. in Flora 1853 No. 30.
4) Durch die drei Report's on the Vegetation of the Colony aus den Jahren 1853, 1854, 1855.
5) Durch die botanische Abhandlung: Definitions of Rare, and hitherto undescribed Australian Plants: in den Transactions of the Philosophical Society of Victoria August und September 1854 and 1855 Vol. I.
6) Durch eine zweite Abhandlung: Descriptive characters of New Alpine Plants from continental Australia; ibid. pag. 96. sq.
7) Durch eine Selbstübersetzung, in der Hamburger Gartenzeitung Jahrg. 10 Hft. 12. 1854.
Ich vorstelle die Sache zum erprüften Ermessen meiner Herren Collegen. Unvorgreiflich Ihrer Ansicht habe ich mir erlaubt, mein eigenes Votum in der Form eines zustimmenden Gesuches an das h. Ministerium abzugeben, event. um Verbesserung oder Vermehrung des Entwurfes bittend.
