So habe ich es denn mit dem Ordnen u Hier u Herlagen der schönen Müller'schen Pflanzen bewenden lassen, u die Myoporinen sollen erst jetzt ihre Erledigung finden. Dass Sie, wie Sie in Ihrem letzten Briefe erwähnen die Haloragheen [o]der Myoporineen nicht beigelegt, macht durchaus nichts, vielleicht können Sie sie den remittenden beilegen, wenn Sie die Müller'schen Familien beendigt haben. Wie sie aus der Linnaea sehen, hat Bentham die

absolvirt, die Papilionaceen sollen bald folgen. Bartling und Miquel lassen sich etwas lange Zeit.
Prächtige Sachen habe ich in den letzten beiden Sendungen von Müller erhalten, die er zum Theil selbst beschrieben hat. Ich darf aber nichts mehr verkaufen, seitdem Müller Regierungsbotaniker ist, nur vertauschen darf ich noch von den Doubletten die jetzt auch in geringerer Anzahl ankommen. Interessant sind die neueren Endtdeckungen in den Schneebergen, wo die Vegetation sich mit der von Van Diemensland ziemlich übereinstimmend zeigt. Bleibt Müller gesund, so wird er uns bald ein vollständiges Bild der südaustralischen Flor vorführen. Ein Eifer sitzt in dem Menschen, der noch keine 30 Jahre zählt, wie er mir noch nicht vorgekommen ist.

I have received splendid things, which he has in part described himself, in both the last consignments from Mueller. However, I may no longer sell things; since Mueller is Government Botanist, I may only exchange still from the duplicates that now also arrive in smaller numbers. The latest discoveries in the Snowy Mountains, where the vegetation appears pretty conformable with that of Van Diemen's Land, are interesting. If Mueller remains healthy, he will soon produce a complete picture of the southern Australian flora. An enthusiasm exists in that person, who is still not 30 years old, such as I have never observed before.
