Sie machten mir im vorigen Jahre die Hoffnung, dass ich noch mit Ende desselben die Bearbeitung der Müller'schen Leguminosen von Ihnen erhalten werde. Ich habe, in Erwartung Ihrer Nachricht, gezögert einen kleinen Nachtrag zu jenen Pflanzen, wobei noch einige interessante Acacien, nachzusenden. Da Dr Müller ohne Zweifel bald wieder eine Sendung complet haben wird, ist es auch vielleicht eben so gut, das Vorhandene bis dahin liegen zu lassen, um dann ein grösseres Supplement zu haben.

Im Falle Ihre übrigen wissenschaftlichen Beschäftigungen es erlaubt haben sollten, die Müller'schen Pflanzen fertig zu machen, so würden Sie mich durch Uebersendung des Manuscripts sehr verbinden. Nachdem die Cryptogamen publicirt, sind jetzt die Junceen (E. Meyer), Orchideen (Lindley) und Epacrideen (von mir) in Drucke. Sollten Sie auch noch anderen Familien z. B. Labiaten Scrophularinen haben wollen, so stehen sie Ihnen zu Geboten.

Bentham (1853). Mimoseae were the only subgroup of M's Leguminoseae sent to Sonder that were described in the series Plantae Mullerianae. The article appeared in May 1855 (TL2, title number 10.744).

In expectation of your news I have hesitated to forward a small supplement of those plants with some more interesting s. As Dr Mueller without doubt will soon have completed another consignment again, it is also perhaps just as well to leave the material at hand until then in order to have a larger supplement.

If your other favourite scientific occupations should permit finishing the Mueller plants, you would oblige me very much by sending the manuscript. After the cryptogams are published, the (E. Meyer),
