Diesmal möchte ich hauptsächlich vorfragen, lieber Herr Holtze, ob Sie Samen von Phylloxera widerstehenden Arten u Hybriden gebrauchen können. Ich habe kürzlich welche mir aus Frankreich und Nordamerika senden lassen, u würde Ihnen gern ohne Zahlung eine Portion senden, und damit etwas von meiner Schuld bei Ihnen abtragen. Freilich sind diese Samen vom letzten nordischen Herbst, aber doch noch ganz keimfähig.

Ist Ihr 2tr Sohn nach Central Australien zurückgekehrt? In diesen Falle möchte ich gern, dass die kleinsten Annuellen wehrend

Is nothing to be done during this spring on the highest mountains of your west?

At this period the Northern Territory was administratively part of SA, and it is uncertain whether M is including that territory in his question. There are no high peaks in the west of SA south of the ranges near the north-west border with the Northern Territory.
