It gives me much pleasure, dear Mr Holtze, to introduce to you young Dr F. Rudall,

James Ferdinand Rudall.

a son of my particular friend Dr James Rudall, a leading operative Surgeon of Melbourne, and an accomplished ophthalmic specialist. His Son, at whose Baptism I stood sponsor, followed his distinguished fathers lines of studies, and after completing his University career here, was engaged at St Thomas' Hospital and other great medical Institutions in London for further researches during several years. Like his father he is also an accomplished Amateur musician and he is a young gentleman of the nicest of disposition, so he will, should he stay in Adelaide be a great acquisition as well to social as medical circles.
