Have sent you some more books for your children,
dear madam, and will continue such transmissions if you will send me a real good
lot of the many different plants occuring in your vicinity, particularly the
minutest sorts
of which probably numerous species must occur in your vicinity, which the children
with their young eyes could well find.

I want the tiny plants particularly
this spring
for special studies. You will not disappoint me, will you, in this easy and inexpensive
task. Are no other bright spirits there to evince an interest in such a subject, more
particularly so, as the finders will get credit in my works for any discoveries made.
