Let me inform you, dear Director Milne Edwards that the genial Consul General for France, the Chev. Dejardin, has kindly offered to send in his next mail-bag a parcel of mine to Paris, so that I will send some more eggs of Birds of rare species to you, as in all probability the great Museum is as yet not fully supplied with these kinds of specimens, it being so difficult to name such eggs with specific accuracy Tell me kindly, whether such aviora are acceptable. I may avail myself of the Consul Generals kindness also in future. The two Boxes, which went by the Armand Behic several weeks ago,
