[ Cocksfoot Grass — Amateur, Beaconsfleld.
2
Vic.
— No. 1 is a variety of the Cocksfoot grass ( ). This hardy and powerful grass is one of the best in the world for pastoral purposes, and with us it is available all the year round, being even now at Easter in a flowering state. No. 2 is without flowers and seeds, so nothing, Baron von Mueller informs us, can be said positively about it in the absence of further particulars.]
