I owe your Council and yourself my best thanks for sending a package of seeds of Marram-Grass, also for the very acceptable addition made by you in sending the seeds of , that being also a splendid "Sandstay".

The season has not been a good one for maturing seeds well of many kinds of plants, and thus the Marram has also perfected only a limited proportion of grain. From A

collection of seeds, recently received from Southern Asia, a set containing economic kinds, will be made up for you, as the mild and humid clime of Warnambool should be particularly conducive to rear plants from these there.
