Crux Galli). It is a bulky, nutritious, soft grass, not of individual long duration but of easy dissemination. It has become naturalised in various parts of Australia, and likes light soil in a humid climate. It seems of South Asiatic origin. The seeds can easily be gathered, and if scattered after the summer heat on gravelly banks of water courses and other fit localities the plant would become established on new localities for adding to the pastoral resources.]
