MS written by Georg Luehmann, with salutation and signature by M.
Honored Sir
I should feel much indebted if you would mention to me those
indigenous
grasses and pasture herbs particularly the perennial species on which horses cattle
and sheep are feeding in your country with
avidity
, and which are not
already
well
known as economic plants. They would then be inserted, with such remarks as you may
offer under your honored name, in the 10th edition of my work on "Select plants" for
industral culture and naturalisation

M planned to publish the tenth edition in 1897; see M to G. Schweinfurth, 25 June 1896. However, it was never published; M's final English-language edition was B95.08.04.
Regardfully yours
Ferd. von Mueller.
