It was very kind of you, dear Madam, to send me the new lot of seaweeds and also the
dried specimens of the land-plants. I find among these plants some few to be new for
W.A. and some new for SA.; the new locality will be mentioned in my works, under your
honored name. Let me hope that you will continue to send both seaweeds and land-plants
as gradually opportunities may arise for you to get any. Perhaps friends near you
would collect also and send their gatherings to you. You packed the specimens admirably.
I will send you from time to time seeds of new vegetables and other economic plants,
as I may able to obtain them.
With best new years wishes
your Ferd. von Mueller.
