Dear Sir,
I have received your letter of 14th inst.
and thank you for the information you have given. I know that many of the Plants
I desire are found not very far from Sydney, but the difficulty is to get specimens,
as at present we have no Collector attached to the Museum. I am, however, asking various
friends and hope in time to get a good Collection together. I shall be very glad indeed
if you will kindly send me examples of the few that you offer.

See M to R. Etheridge, 14 December 1895 (in this edition as 95-12-14a).
I have taken note of your wishes regarding the particular species you wish examples
of at any time we are dredging. There is no immediate prospect of our being able to
help you in this, but it will not be lost sight of.
Stephen's Blue Black, and Copying Inks are very good, but the Copying Ink that we
use is Antoine & Fils Violet Black Copying Ink. It gives very good results. About
the best black Ink (not copying) that we have come across is Draper's Dichroic Ink.
I am,
Yours truly
R. Etheridge
Baron F. von Mueller,
MELBOURNE.
