On Tuesday I Iearnt, dear Mr Henley, from your honored Daughter, when she kindly sent
the native flowers also this spring for the Field-Naturalists Club to the exhibition,
that you and Mrs Henley were staying at the Federal Coffee-Palace. As I felt unwell
all through the week, I only called this day, to pay you and your kind Lady my respects
But you had left then for St Kilda, and as I feel poorly you will kindly excuse, if
I do not wait on you both at once.
Will you kindly accept the new edition of the Select Plants
as a recognition of Miss Henleys genial helping at our spring-floral shows so splendidly
and zealously. Her cooperation will also this year recorded
in our Clubs Periodical "The Victorian Naturalist".
