Das beifolgende Buch, hochgeehrter Herr Best, enthält auch Notizen über einheimische medicinische Pflanzen. Das Inhalts Verzeichniss, Seite 597 weist besonders darauf hin. Wollen Sie gütig das Buch als eine Privatsendung von mir annehmen, besonders auch als eine kleine Anerkennung einen so schönen Artikel für mein letztes Ehrenfest im Turnverein geliefert zu haben für die S.A.D. Zeitung. Ich glaube Ihnen mein lithographirtes Portrait als ein Souvenir für freundliche Annahme gesandt zu haben u als ein Souvenir. Wenn nicht, so soll es sogleich geschehen. Im Falle dasjenige welches über medicinische Pflanzen in den "Select Plants" gegeben ist, nicht zureichen sollte für Ihren Zweck, so konnten wir wohl in meinem Hause eine besondere Besprechung darüber haben.
