Should you at any time sort among the s, kindly put authentic specimens of rarer kinds aside for the great Collection of dried plants here, commenced by me in 1839 and now containing about a million sheets! I always sought a special pride by enriching it with original specimens of authors My own huge collections I incorporated as a free gift, though they cost me thousands of £ before I took office in 1853 and also thousands of £. privately afterwards.
