[At the monthly meeting of the Vinegrowers' Association on Wednesday afternoon Mr. T. Hardy drew attention to the telegram appearing in the Register on August 26,

with reference to the proposal to replant the vine yards in the Bendigo district, which were up-rooted owing to the presence of phylloxera with American phylloxera-resisting cuttings to be imported from America, and also to the stand taken by Baron von Mueller in condemning the importation of cuttings.
