It is with much regret, dear Mr Sisley, that I am by the heavy work for the outgoing
mail for Europe prevented from enjoying the splendid entertainment of this evening. I shall miss a great treat. But I send
two Juniors myself, and add hereby a little to your fund, regretting that it is so
little, but it shows at all events my willingness to help the poor in their distress.
Always regardfully your
Ferd. von Mueller
