You wrote me so joyfully
about the supposed discovery of the north pole dear Miss Armytage, that I owe it
to your offering some explanation, why I believed in the story. Perhaps some day soon
I can explain to you orally more fully how it was, that I was carried away by my geographic
enthusiasm.
