scrub the other day I met with for the first time, a raceme of ripe fruit of your and find it will have to be placed in my Cyanocarpus. There will be no occasion however to alter the specific name. I point this out to you as in any publication where you may speak of the plant it will be well to mention it henceforth as .

short description of fruit
A drupe form — oblong, about ½ in. long, of a glossy dark blue colour epicarp fleshy and juicy blue like the outside, endocarp chartaceous. Embryo minute Ripe June Hab. Eumundi.
