They are forwarded by post in two parcels to you this day. The one already in leaves is probably a Crinum, perhaps a species not rare but it can do no harm to send it, and it may turn out something good The two others look more promising, for Calostemma album, but one may perhaps be I have only the bulbs, so we cannot foresee, what they may turn out. You will recognize the good will.
Some weeks hence I shall send you the nineth edition of the "Select Plants",
