Calostemma album was illustrated in April 1895 'at the suggestion of Sir F. v Mueller' in Oliver (1891-5),
vol. 24, plate 2371, using a specimen collected by Robert Brown in December 1802 and described
by him in R. Brown (1810), p. 298.
