Letter not found. The text given here is from a letter from Wilhelm Bäuerlen to Joseph
Maiden, written from Lismore, NSW, on 2 July 1895. The item is dated to June 1895
as the latest date on which M could have written, for his letter to reach Bäuerlen
on 1 July.

The reprint evidently included both Kränzlin (1894) and Kränzlin (1895), since in
his subsequent comments to Maiden, Bäuerlen mentions species collected by him that
are discussed in each of these papers.
