Letter not found; text is a memorandum from Württemberg's Ministry of Church and School
Affairs to Kurt Lampert, Director of Stuttgart's Staatliches Museum für Naturkunde.
The signatory, Sarvey, who has not been further identified, was presumably an official

The letter's being sent was prompted by a memorandum from Lampert, 6 April 1895, alerting
the Ministry of Church and School Affairs to the fact that M's 70th birthday was approaching
and reminding them of his manifold contributions to the Museum's collections as well
as his funding of a scholarship from which the collections had likewise benefited.
[The Ministry has accepted the report of 22nd of the previous month concerning the
forthcoming 70th birthday of Baron Dr Ferdinand v. Müller in Melbourne and has addressed
a letter of congratulations to him on behalf of His Majesty the King, of which the
Directorate is informed.
