I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your memorandum of the 7th instant,

forwarding a letter addressed to you by the President and the Secretary of the Uralian Natural History Society of Ekaterinberg, Russia, which is returned to you herewith,

and in reply to inform you that the Government Printer has been requested to forward to the Librarian, Public Library, a copy of each of the works published by you, and that Dr Bride has been requested to forward the same, on behalf of the Government to the above mentioned Society.

A letter of the same date requested the Government Printer to forward to Dr Bride, Public Librarian, a copy of such of M's works 'of which there is a good supply'. Another letter of the same date asked Bride, on the authority of the Chief Secretary, to forward to the Society M's works sent to him by the Government Printer.
