In acknowledging the receipt of your letter of the 28th instant,
respecting Messrs. Minchin and French,
of your Branch, I have the honour, by direction, to state that the officers named
have been reported to the Board by the Under Secretary as available for transfer,
and that the Board have no alternative but to transfer them temporarily
to the Department of Agriculture, where their services are urgently required.
