Letter not found. Text is an annotation, probably by Brotherton, on the back of an envelope. There is a separate annotation: 'Names of some flowers'. On the front, the envelope is addressed 'Miss Brotherton &c | Hon. Secr. Field-Ramblers Club, | "the Woodlands", | Castlemaine ' and marked 'Government Botanist, | Melbourne, 12/1/1895'. The text is dated on this basis. The envelope has been stamped three times: 'MELBOURNE | [...] | JA | 12 | 93', 'CHIEF SECRETARY VICTORIA | FRANK STAMP' and illegible. The back has also been stamped: 'CASTLEMAINE | VIC | JA | 14 | 95'.
