Sir,
I beg to request that you will be good enough to furnish me as early as possible with full particulars as to the expenditure for the last financial year of your vote for contingencies, where the items opposite the several amounts do not definitely describe the services on which the vote is to be expended, the particulars to show separately all payments made by way of gratuity or overtime to Public Servants and all payments made to persons employed temporarily and to show under definite headings how the amount voted as Incidentals has been disbursed.
