Dear Baron von Mueller
One of the trainees of the Geol survey — Mr Geo Foster now engaged in the "whipsticks"
north of Bendigo — is collecting the native plants of the locality This young man
is a son of the present minister of Mines Hon Hy Foster MP and I want to encourage
him in Botanical studies Would you kindly name the plants for him from time to time
