My Dear Baron
Herewith please receive a fruiting branchlet of a tree from the Table land New England I think it is a ? it is known as "Turpentine Pine", has a very soft fibrous bark and I am informed that the wood is more durable than the other Pine woods. Height about 80 ft diameter 18 inch to 2 ft

Thanks sincerely for the Salt bush & other seeds I have raised Plants of the former but am afraid the moist climate here will not prove suitable; however I intend to give it a fair trial and have distributed the seed to a few friends whom I hope will take an interest in it.
